Very professional, excellent assessment skills and confident in the medical plan needed...
I have suggested so bend ortho to many here in Michigan. Only wish you had facility in Michigan so I wouldn't have to travel.
Dr. Mike was great. He wanted me to go to therapy for another 6? weeks.
Dr. Mike was one of the most caring physicians I've had the pleasure of meeting. He was not hurried, explained my care to my understanding, and I felt very confident in his care. I HAVE recommended him to all my friends.
Didn't come in after surgery. Not a lot of good bed side manor, however this time he tweaked my toes as he went out. I liked that. Not sure if it was because it was the day before Christmas and he was in a good mood. but it made Dr. Mike Yergler more down to earth.
Mike Yergler needs to slow down a bit - spend a little more time in the exam room with the patient. He is a good doctor - just needs to take the time to explain things.
Dr Mike Yergler was great! Friendly, caring and knowledgeable.
I've had 4 surgery by mike and had great recovery from them. Movement is almost the same as it was before. I would highly recommend Mike.
I recommend Dr Yergler to everyone.
I was seen by Dr. Yergler (the younger version). I honestly feel that he is the most qualified individual in the Michiana to see for my condition. I will keep going back and if surgery is in the cards I don't think I would consider another individual. If I had some recommendations with regard to bedside manners, it would be to slow it down just a little bit.
I have the highest confidence in this Doctor, he is busy and sometimes seems to be in a hurry, but I would not go to anyone else because I feel he is the best at what he does.
Doctor Mike is like a whirl wind. He's in does what needs to be done then he's gone. A great doctor but needs to slow down a little.
Mike Yergler is an old friend and a trusted and valued care provider.
Already have recommended this provider many times since 2003.
Dr. Michael Yergler was very professional and friendly, have recommended him many times over the yrs. Has helped the medical problems, each time I have come to him.
Dr. was too much in a hurry. Didnít offer anything for pain until I asked. Was never told to take some meds with me for after surgery and had to suffer an hour trip home in pain. No communication.
I always recommend Dr Yergler (both Jeff and Mike) to anyone who asks for a good surgeon and plus all the staff have been kind.
Dr. Michael Yergler showed me the utmost care and consideration and in this case read my mind that I wanted to go the least invasive approach to the problem. He also met my objectives for the visit. I am pretty close to pain free.
No complaints....very direct, quick, not much personality here....but, the doctoring was good.
He is always rushed never spends enough time to answer questions or concerns.
Dr. Mike Yergler was very apologetic for the wait we had.
Nice job will recommend to others.
Everything the doctor told me actually came true. Going to therapy and doing the exercises 3 times a day actually came true where my shoulder actually feels great.
Only place I will go for help.
On one occasion the Dr. finished what he was saying and left the room. Thought he was going to get something or get some information. My wife and I sat there for about 5 minutes. After a while we looked at each other and said, 'Guess he was done'. So we left.
We saw Dr. Mike Yergler before on a recommendation and have been very pleased with him. He is confident and knowledgeable. I felt that he was the best choice in making sure that I would heal well and be able to continue to play my sports. I have given his name to others because I feel strongly that he is a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable doctor.
I know the doctors are very busy, but the appointment in the room feels rushed.
Dr. Yergler is a very good surgeon, which is why I have selected him twice.
I personally like Dr. Yergler (Mike) and have strong confidence in his abilities as a surgeon, but it is difficult to get him to take more than a minute to talk.
Overall great experience.
Dr M. Yergler is fast and to the point and as someone whoís in business where time is tight, I like that.
The only negative about my first apt. was the wait time to be seen. Other than that, everyone was very professional and kind to me. My Dr. 'Mike' was the best. I sure am glad that I have him as a Dr. and will recommend him and your facility to all of my friends.
Being the first appointment. he seemed a little rushed.
Over the last 2 years we have been exceedingly pleased with Dr. Mike.... we have every confidence in him- we recommend him all the time!!! He exudes competence and confidence... my mom loves him!!!
I have nothing bad to say about my care provider very glad to have him on my side.
The doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me. He never asked about my pain level to decide if I might need a pain reliever. I was not told how to take care of the knee to prevent further injury. I'm walking very gingerly due to the pain but I wonder if I'm doing more harm. Would be nice to know this.
Doctor was personable and seemed very knowledgeable. He didnít rush the appointment, yet was extremely efficient.
Michael Yergler should be image the public associates with SBO. He is a remarkably skilled surgeon. While his visits are short and efficient, his affable personality makes patients feel like they are partners in the process. He is not dismissive or condescending toward patients. A week after surgery, my shoulder feels better than pre-surgery. I would recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic care. His anesthesiologist met with me before surgery to explain his procedures and provided a follow-up call the next day. He was also detailed and patient in his explanations. I wasn't sure until surgery time if the bone spur would be decompressed (removed) and whether or not the labrum would be removed altogether as a debridement/clean up subordinate to the biceps tenodosis. While I was a bit concerned at first, all questions were answered on the day of surgery. The post surgery review of the arthroscopic pictures was excellent---I can now see why pre-op explanations are minimal--since much cannot be discovered until the scopes are in place.
Recommended several of your current patients!!
Mike Yergler and his staff are exceptional.
Surgery was recommended. I have never had surgery before and did not know what questions to ask. Therefore, I was not told much about what he would do, how he would do it and nothing accurate about recovery time. I was told I could drive in 2 days. My actual recovery is 2 months! I thought the surgery would be really easy. I had no idea what to expect.
Great experience with Dr. Mike Yergler. He fixed a previous surgeons work and was extremely professional and efficient. I could not believe the difference in the post-op condition (pain, swelling, use of arm, etc). He did a great job helping me understand what was done incorrectly, what he was going to do to fix it, and what I could expect. Great Job!!!!!
If Dr would slow down a bit, he would give the perception that he is spending enough time. Always in a rush to leave and I do not have high expectations of doctor time (I'm in healthcare and know the demands).
This doctor comes highly recommended and I have had surgery with him before and he did a great job. His downside is the amount of information he is willing to share. I have had injections before that never gave me any problems, so I had no idea that I could possibly have any side effects. That would have been helpful to know. I thought that something was very wrong because I was in quite a bit of pain afterwards. I have confidence in him, but would really like a little more information when I am in there.
If I need another joint dealt with I will be coming back even though it is an hour away from me.
I had an image on my upper leg. It hurt really bad, but I felt a little better after I got a shot at Memorial. I keep going back to South Bend Orthopedics about every six weeks, but I really still do not know whatís wrong with it. Said something about cartilage peeling? What to do?
I would like to have a little more time to talk to him about my shoulder but I know youíre all so busy and I know Iíve got the best care I can get.
I felt that I really wasn't prepared for the recovery time and pain that I experienced. I really had 'no idea' it would be as difficult as it was.
