Meet the Staff

Our board certified physicians have been providing orthopaedic care to patients since 1947. Dr. Leslie Bodnar and Dr. Marlin Troyer founded SBO with one simple mission: A Tradition of Excellence in Orthopaedics.

Our physicians have also provided the orthopaedic surgeons for Notre Dame Athletic Department since 1949. This sports medicine program provides every student-athlete with the most comprehensive, highest quality individual sports medicine health care available in a professional, efficient, compassionate and service-oriented manner. It is a diversified program of prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation that assures a positive healthy recovery experience, an improved quality of life, a safe return to full athletic participation and continued athletic success.

This same level of expertise is provided to every patient visits our practice. Our goal is to get you back in the game, whether that means sports, work, or just everyday life. We provide specialized care in joint replacement, sports medicine, trauma, hand, spine and foot/ankle care.
