Patient Safety
The safety of our employees and patients is extremely important to us at SBO.
If you are feeling ill, or experiencing any COVID symptoms, please do not come into the office. Please call to reschedule or ask about telehealth. If you are coming into the office, we require all patients and visitors to wear a mask. Patients must come alone, if the patient is a minor or requires assistance, 1 visitor or guardian is permitted.
Notice to Surgery Patients:
If your surgery was canceled due to COVID -19; our staff will contact you to you to reschedule. You do not need to call our office to schedule unless you have urgent health concerns related to your surgery. While the order for elective cases to resume was approved for Indiana, we must follow the guidelines for each local surgical facility. We apologize for the continued inconvenience and we are working to increase surgery availability.
TeleHealth Notice:
South Bend Orthopaedics is open and ready to continue serving our community. Your health and safety have been and continue to be top priorities. You may request an IN-office appointment or an AT home telehealth visit. Ask an SBO employee if you would like to learn more about telehealth. You may also send a message through the secure patient portal directly to your physician to determine if this is a good option for you. If you schedule a telehealth appointment there is a 1-hour window from your scheduled time.
