The safety of our employees and patients is extremely important to us at SBO.
If you are feeling ill, or experiencing any COVID symptoms, please do not come into the office. Please call to reschedule or ask about telehealth. If you are coming into the office, we require all patients and visitors to wear a mask. Patients must come alone, if the patient is a minor or requires assistance, 1 visitor or guardian is permitted.
Notice to Surgery Patients:
The hospitals and outpatient surgical facilities continue to require pre-procedure COVID-19 testing, regardless of vaccination status. Each facility has their own requirements and we will provide you with specifics regarding location, date and time for testing prior to your procedure. If you test positive and your surgery has not been deemed "urgent," your procedure will be rescheduled. We apologize for the continued inconvenience but must continue to follow the guidelines established by each facility for your continued health and safety.
South Bend Orthopaedics is open and ready to continue serving our community. Your health and safety have been and continue to be top priorities. You may request an IN-office appointment or an AT home telehealth visit. Ask an SBO employee if you would like to learn more about telehealth. You may also send a message through the secure patient portal directly to your physician to determine if this is a good option for you. If you schedule a telehealth appointment there is a 1-hour window from your scheduled time.
