Dr. Warrender is a board certified, fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in the comprehensive treatment of patients with Hand, Wrist and Elbow conditions.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame where he played baseball for the Fighting Irish, he completed medical school and an Orthopaedic Surgical Residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He followed this with a fellowship in Hand, Wrist and Elbow Surgery at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis before returning to South Bend.

Dr. Warrender has authored 25 journal articles and 5 book chapters on hand and upper extremity surgery and has presented his research nationally. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the American Association for Hand Surgery.

Dr. Warrender is a consulting physician for the athletic department at the University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Warrender is a member of the American Association of Hand Surgery, the Notre Dame Orthopaedic Society and the Indiana Orthopaedic Society.
