Dr. Henry Kim

Henry Kim, M.D. is a board-certified and fellow-trained Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Joint Replacements and Sports Medicine. He grew up in South Bend. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University. He earned his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. He completed an Adult Joint Reconstruction and Sports Medicine fellowship at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in New York, New York. Dr. Kim is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Kim has been practicing at South Bend Orthopaedics since 2001.

After studying and training on both the East and West Coasts, I chose to return home to practice medicine. When I started practicing as an orthopedic surgeon in 2001, there was one obvious choice of which practice to join – South Bend Orthopaedics. This is my hometown, and I feel that it is a wonderful place in which to live and work. I feel a great responsibility and a unique, shared connection to the people of Michiana. It is an honor and privilege to play a role in the health and well-being of people’s lives.
