Dr. Matthew Dinnon

Dr. Matthew Dinnon is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot and rearfoot reconstructive and ankle surgery. Dr. Dinnon has practiced at South Bend Orthopedics since 2002. He graduated from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and went on to complete residency at St. Joseph of Mishawaka Hospital followed by a fellowship at the Foot and Ankle Institute in Oak Lawn, Illinois, Dr. Dinnon has specific interests in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle as well as sports injuries and biomechanics of the foot. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a consultant for the University of Notre Dame.

As a former collegiate basketball player at Valparaiso University he has an interest in sports medicine of the lower extremity. He takes pride in his ability to relate to his patients and understands the need to help his patients remain active. Many foot and ankle problems require an extensive understanding of lower extremity biomechanics in order to regain complete function. Dr. Dinnon’s 20 years of experience helps him recognize and treat many less common foot problems.
